Problems in the Adoption of Climate-Resilient Technologies by the Farmers of Telangana State, India

Climate change refers to significant changes in global temperature, precipitation, and wind patterns. hasa serious impact on the natural resources available earth. adversely affects human health quality of life. A majority population depends agriculture directly or indirectly it is more vulnerable climate change. To mitigate adverse effects change, climate-resilient has become a boon farmers areas that are climatic like drought, floods, etc., National Innovations Resilient Agriculture (NICRA), project launched by Indian Council Agricultural Research (ICAR) with aim enhance resilience variability through strategic research technology demonstrations. Krishi Vigyan Kendras (KVKs) main implementing agency NICRA. With help KVKs, interventions NICRA were accessible throughout country. The present study was conducted Nalgonda district Khammam Telangana. ex-post-facto design used for study. sample 120 respondents from implemented villages 60 non-NICRA selected randomly major problems adoption CRA technologies limited knowledge (91.66%) followed inadequate trainings regarding practices (90.00%),inadequate weather based agro advisory services (88.33%), outreach extension about (76.66%), non -availability required implements custom hiring centres at time heavy demand (73.33%), In case villages, faced lack confidence among adopt new due fear failure (93.33%), awareness (90.00%), Difficulty understanding (86.67%), water, labour money (83.33%), less number need-based training (75.00%), access improved crop varieties other inputs (70.00%), etc.
